Whether you're looking for more guidance, activities, or just a friendly ear, there's lots of different support in Hillingdon to improve your emotional wellbeing.
Young children and their families
If you have young children (aged 0 to 7-years-old) and are parents or carers living in Hillingdon, you can access a range of services and information from our family hubs and children's centres. All our centres offer a range of sessions, courses and workshops that are designed to support your child's development and early learning. Our centres also focus on the health and wellbeing of both you and your child, as well as providing parenting support for parents and carers.
If you have a child under 3 and struggle to leave your house, you may wish to contact Home-Start Hillingdon. Home Start offers volunteer support for families (with young children) facing challenges, such as post-natal depression, illness, disability or isolation, and provides practical and emotional help.
Special educational needs and disabilities
If you have a child with special educational needs and/or disability, Hillingdon provides many services and support for you and your child.

Young people
Targeted programmes for children and young people offers mentoring and wellbeing support for 8 to 24-year-olds in Hillingdon. Additional support includes mentoring, groups for LGBTQIA+ individuals, children moving to secondary school, children who have witnessed domestic abuse, and various other supportive groups for young people.
Kooth offers free, safe and anonymous online counselling for 11 to 25-year-olds who would like immediate access to an online community of peers and a team of experienced accredited counsellors.

Parents and carers
There is a range of support services specifically for parents and carers.
If you're feeling worried, low or stressed, or are struggling in your relationships, Talking Therapies can help. It's a free, confidential NHS service that provides a range of talking therapies to people over 18-years-old, registered with a Hillingdon GP.
