What we do for a safer Hillingdon

Addressing violent crime

Violent crime can happen to anyone. If you are concerned in any way about any form of violent crime including:

  • acid attacks
  • alcohol and drug-related violence
  • domestic abuse
  • gang violence
  • gun and knives
  • hate and mate crime
  • sexual violence (such as rape or sexual assault)

or you know someone who is, help is available.

You can talk in confidence to someone from one of the support help lines contained in our violent crime support and assistanceĀ guide [466KB] . Many have specially trained staff and volunteers to help people affected by violent crime. They also know that crimes like this can also have a strong impact on friends and family, and they are here to support anyone affected.

If you are in immediate danger dial 999 to speak to the police straight away or for non-emergencies dial 111.
