Our Register Office will be closed Friday 19 to Monday 21 April for the Easter weekend

Out-of-hours emergency service

The out-of-hours emergency service is for the issue of greens paperwork to allow a funeral to go ahead for religious reasons.

This service will be available between 9am and 10am on Saturday 19 April and Monday 21 April only to facilitate urgent burials.

To request this service, please call 01895 250111. Please do not attend the register office, which will be closed.

Please note:

• To use this service, we will need the doctor who attended the body to email the Medical Certificate of Cause of Death directly to us at registeroffice@hillingdon.gov.uk.
• You will not be able to use this service if the death has been reported to the coroner or if you intend to take the deceased out of the country.
• This service will be over the telephone with the electronic transfer of documents via secure email to the funeral director.

• citizenship ceremonies.

New ceremony facilities

To coincide with the relocation of Uxbridge Library, our Register Office will undergo a major upgrade as it moves to another part of the building.

The new facilities will include The Nova Room, which will cater for marriage and civil partnership ceremonies of up to 20 guests, and The Astra Suite, which will cater for up to 80 guests.

Parking

The nearest car park is located in the Chimes shopping centre, opposite the Civic Centre. 

Please note: There is no parking at the Civic Centre unless you are a blue badge holder.
