Minimum sign up of a term of lessons (10 weeks). Instrument focused learning on a larger range of instruments. Free CPD for the member of staff in the room.

Prices for whole class lessons are based on a 10-week term.

CPD, networking and support

We offer free or highly-discounted bespoke music CPD and termly networking opportunities. We also offer yearly School Music Education Planning support conversations.

Please email music@hillingdon.gov.uk if you are not already on our mailing list for these opportunities.

Performances opportunities

Throughout the year, we offer regular free performance opportunities in our primary schools. These have included:

  • singing competitions held at Manor Farm in Ruislip
  • inclusive choir resources and collaborative concerts
  • newly-commissioned pieces and free workshops, with a final performance at Brunel University (with schools from across the borough).

We are looking to refresh the performance opportunities we offer secondary schools and this will be discussed in our network meetings.

Quality assurance

All instrumental teaching staff are well qualified, experienced musicians who have completed a safer recruitment process and enhanced criminal record check.

Teachers are regularly observed and receive training throughout the year to help them maintain and develop their teaching skills.
