TSC London Mini Marathon

The TCS Mini London Marathon is the official British Athletics 2.6km road championship that takes place over part of the full London marathon course, the day before the main race.

The TCS London Mini Marathon (2.6K) event will take place on Saturday 25 April 2026. Starting line at The Horse Guards Parade, London (finishing line The Mall)

To represent The London Borough of Hillingdon's mini marathon team, you must either live or go to school in the borough of Hillingdon.

Each competitor will need to complete an official parkrun course and receive an official time in order to qualify for the team. To take part in a parkrun you need to register online in advance of the first race. You only need to register once to receive your unique bar code.

  • Under 12 years old and 14 years old junior parkrun (2k) distance
  • Under 16 years old and under 18 years old parkrun (5k) distance

Please note: your entry will not be considered without a 2k junior parkrun or 5k parkrun time competed between January and March 2026

New age categories, based on UKA guidance, are as follows:

  • U12 for London boroughs only (four girls and four boys per borough team)
  • U14, U16 and U18, replacing the previous U13, U15 and U17 (as in 2025, there will be six girls/women and six boys/men per team)

As 2026 is a transition year to the new categories, TCS also want to recognise the fastest under 13 years old, under 15 years old and under 17 years old runners so they will still have the chance to secure their place on the TCS Mini London Marathon podium.
