Reading Friends Online: Meet The Author

Have you ever wished you could ask an author those nagging questions you still have when you finish their book? Well now you can!

Bookworms OnlineWith our Bookworms Online events, library members can borrow an eBook or audiobook related to an upcoming event, read the book, then join us live online to meet the author.

You'll have the chance to put your questions to the author in real time - or you could simply sit back and listen while they tell you the secrets of how they wrote the story.

How to take part

  1. If you're not already a member, join the library.
  2. Download the BorrowBox app - available on your smartphone, tablet or computer.
  3. Sign in to BorrowBox with your Hillingdon library card number and PIN, then download your copy of the relevant e-book or audiobook for free.
  4. Enjoy your book! 
  5. Once you've listened to the book, join us online on the relevant date for our event.
