Led walks

Increase your heart rate and improve your health and wellbeing with our free led walks. Our led walks take place Monday to Sunday across the borough and are a great way to meet people and explore Hillingdon's beautiful green spaces.

Cranford Park

A 3.5 to 4 mile walk, seeing some of the hidden places in historic Cranford Park. Meet at Harlington Library.

Denham

A medium paced walk through Denham Country Park, which is part of the Colne Valley. This walk is mainly off-road and includes uneven paths, slopes and stiles.

Dowding Park

A walk from Dowding Park.

Elephant Park

Join us on our longest walk, taking in parts of the Hillingdon Trail. A good level of fitness is required and we recommend you bring a drink with you.

Grand Union

A fast-paced walk along the towpath of the Grand Union Canal, taking in some green spaces along the way. Various routes are followed and a good level of fitness is required for this walk.

Gutteridge Woods

This walk travels along the Hillingdon Trail, through woods where you can spot wildlife, such as woodpeckers, some rare butterflies (purple hairstreak) and dragonflies.

Harefield

This medium to fast paced walk follows 2 to 3 different routes along the Grand Union Canal, past the famous Black Jack's Lock. It includes steep slopes and uneven ground through woodland.

Harefield (short)

A short walk in Harefield Village designed for residents starting to exercise or getting back into walking. The walk is a gentle pace and on a level surface.

Hillingdon

Escape built-up and busy areas by taking a slow to medium paced walk through Philpots Farm in Hillingdon.

Ickenham

Join us for a medium-paced walk that takes you around Ickenham and Swakeleys Park, where you have wonderful views of Swakeleys House.

Little Britain Lake

Enjoy a wallk along the canal and a section of the London Loop to Cowley's Little Britain Lake.

Norman Leddy Gardens

Take a stroll through the beautiful Norman Leddy Gardens in Hayes, where there is something to see in every season.

Northwood Hills

A fast paced walk around Haste Hill and Ruislip Woods, which both provide stunning views. Various routes are followed and a good level of fitness is required for this walk.

Pinkwell Park

Enjoy a walk through the historic Pinkwell Park, which was once part of the Dawley Estate.

Ruislip Lido and Woods

A fast-paced walk around the ancient Ruislip Woods and Lido - a wonderful resource, which is full of nature. The walk includes stiles, slopes and uneven paths.

Stockley Park

This walk takes you on a variety of different routes around Stockley Park and along the Grand Union Canal. All routes are off-road and include slopes, uneven paths and steps. This walk is a medium to fast paced walk.

Uxbridge

A medium-paced walk through Rockingham Park and Fassnidge Park, Sometimes, this route alternates to the hidden Uxbridge Alderglade

Uxbridge Stroller

Walk along 2 rivers, 1 canal and through Fassnidge Park. This is a slow to medium-paced walk and may include moderate slopes, steps and uneven surfaces.

West Drayton

Enjoy a walk around many beautiful open and green spaces, including The Closes, Harmondsworth Moor and Saxon Lake. The walk is medium paced and includes uneven paths and stiles.

Yeading

A slow-to-medium-paced walk to Yeading Meadows. Some of the walk includes uneven surfaces and off-road walking.

Yeading (short walk)

A gentle slow-paced short walk from St Edmonds Church to nearby Warren Park. There is plenty of seating if needed.
