Harefield Infant and Junior Schools consultation

We're asking residents, parents, governors and school staff to share their views on our pre-publication consultation to merge Harefield Infant School and Harefield Junior School to form a single primary school.

The new school will include pupils from Harefield Infant School and Harefield Junior School, already federated under a single governing body. Pupils will continue their education under the new primary school, so parents won't need to apply for a school place after year 3. The school will build on the strengths and good practices of both schools and find new ways to improve teaching and learning across all key stages.

If approved the school:

  • will offer up to 420 statutory school-age places, ensuring that no pupils will be displaced
  • will be located on the current site of Harefield infant and junior schools.
