General election 2024

A general election is being held on Thursday 4 July. There are 3 parliamentary constituencies within Hillingdon. You will be voting to choose who you would like to represent your constituency in the House of Commons.

Voter ID

The requirement for voters to show photo ID at polling stations now applies to local elections and by-elections, recall petitions and UK parliamentary elections.

This means that voter ID is required in the upcoming general election taking place for the constituencies of:

  • Hayes and Harlington
  • Ruislip, Northwood and Pinner
  • Uxbridge and South Ruislip.

Please note: The wards of Hatch End, Pinner and Pinner South fall within the constituency of Ruislip, Northwood and Pinner.

    The last date to register to vote in this election is midnight on Tuesday 18 June.

    The last date to submit a postal vote application is 5pm on Wednesday 19 June.

    The last date to submit a proxy vote application is 5pm on Wednesday 26 June.
  • Voter Authority Certificate
    The last date to submit a voter authority certificate application is 5pm on Wednesday 26 June.
