Colleges and training providers

Many local colleges and training providers offer a variety of opportunities to support individuals on their journey towards employment.

Opportunities may include study programmes, vocational courses and T levels.

Courses usually include qualifications, work experience and training to develop practical skills. Course may be useful for those who need additional training before starting a supported internship, apprenticeship or employment.  

Colleges and training providers in Hillingdon

  • SEND Post 16  and Post 16 Prospectus - offer a wide range of academic and vocational courses, which support young people towards independence and employment and build on their skills and interests.
  • Hillingdon Adult Community Learning and ALDD courses- provides a range of training and employability courses. These include targeted courses for learners with learning difficulties or disabilities.
  • Burleigh College -  offers a range of training, courses and employability opportunities for young people taking first steps towards employment.
  • Green Corridor - is a registered charity and approved specialist education provider for 16 to 25-year-olds with an education and health care plan (EHCP).
  • Uxbridge College (HRUC) - part of Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge College, Uxbridge College offers a wide range of courses at different levels for 16-year-olds and over. 
  • Orchard Hill College - offers a range of vocational programmes to support young people aged 16+ with a special educational need.
