Food safety training
You must make sure that staff members who handle or prepare food have adequate training.
This can range from issuing simple guidance on food safety and personal hygiene, to new members of staff, to more formal training.
Accredited training
These accreditation bodies provide for a good standard of food training. However, there are many other companies that will provide training on food safety.
You can find out more about suitable courses from your local library, Further Education College or contact one of the awarding bodies. The Food Standards Agency also has a number of basic training videosĀ on Youtube.
