Blenheim Angling Society

The Blenheim Angling Society is a local fishing rights on the Grand Union Canal from Denham Deep Lock to Batchworth Lock at Rickmansworth (next to the Aquadrome ).

The canal contains some superb:

  • Bream up to 12lbs
  • Carp up to 30lbs
  • Pike up to 20lbs
  • Perch, Barbel
  • Dace and Roach

Day tickets and season permits are available from Harefield Tackle. Anglers need to beware of power lines and moored boats.

Annual membership for the canal is:

  • £40 per year for Seniors
  • £20 for OAPs and Registered Disabled
  • £15 per year for Juniors.       

The Club also has fishing on the:

  • River Colnebrook at Wraysbury from Wraysbury Station Car Park down to Hythe End, with car parking available at both ends
  • Watts Pool (at Hythe End) with Tench, Rudd, Roach, Perch and Carp and there are three disabled swims (this is a small lake) and parking beside the lake
  • Cargill Lake about halfway down the River Colnebrook (a walk of about 5 to 10 minutes along the River Colnebrook to access the lake) which is quiet and secluded and contains nice old English Carp to over 30lbs

Full membership starts 1 June each year

  • Joining fee £20
  • Senior £100
  • Senior Citizens £50
  • Registered Disabled £50
  • Third Rod on Cargill Lake £35
  • Juniors (Under 16) £10 - No joining fee
