Meet the Mayor of Hillingdon

Councillor John Morgan has been elected Mayor of Hillingdon 2018 to 2019 and his wife Fiona Morgan is the Mayoress and Pauline Bianco is the Mayor's Escort.

His Deputy Mayor is Councillor David Yarrow and the Deputy Mayoress will be Mary O'Connor MBE.

Councillor John Morgan was born and bought up in Hertfordshire before moving to Northwood Hills in Hillingdon in 1992 with Fiona, his wife, who grew up in the Borough. They have one daughter aged 17 who is hoping to start university in September reading Music.

Councillor John Morgan worked in the City for many years firstly as a client service adviser before moving into IT as a business analyst. During his career he was lucky enough to travel extensively, mainly in Europe.

Councillor John Morgan became a councillor in 2010 and one of his many highlights over the past eight years was working with the local community on the regeneration of Northwood Hills, especially as he is a former Chairman of Northwood Hills Residents Association.
He is a school governor at Coteford Junior School and is a trustee of the Fassnidge Memorial Trust.

Councillor John Morgan's interests include riding motorbikes, watching football, family tree research, yes he has had a DNA test, and drinking real ale.
