The free, drop-in event will showcase services available to families, including stalls from a range of council departments and its partners, and is an opportunity for parents and carers to speak to officers and find out more about the council's services for families and children.

The roadshow will include talks, demonstrations and activities for children under five. Representatives from the council's libraries, Families' Information Service, stronger families team and several health and support organisations will be in attendance to speak to residents about their services and how they can help.

Cllr Susan O'Brien, Hillingdon Council's Cabinet Member for Children, Families and Education, said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for residents to discover and learn how to access our expansive services on offer to families by having them all together in one place at the same time.

"They can pop in throughout the day, browse the stalls, listen to guest speakers or hear from the professionals, see demonstrations and get more information about what is provided.

"This is the first event of its kind in Hillingdon, and with its success we hope to replicate it in other parts of the borough so no one misses out."
