Grange Park Infant and Nursery and Grange Park Junior School consultation
We are proposing to close Grange Park Infant and Nursery School and the governing body of Grange Park Junior School are proposing to extend the age range of the junior school from 7 to 11-year-olds to 3 to 11-year-olds.
The new school will include pupils from 4 to 5-year-olds (reception) through to 10 to 11-year-olds (year 6) and will provide the same nursery class for 3 to 4-year-olds as the current infant and nursery school.
It will also admit up to 90 pupils each year, which is the same number of students currently admitted by the combined infant and junior schools, ensuring that no pupils will be displaced.
If approved, Grange Park Infant and Nursery School will close on Sunday 31 August 2025. Grange Park Junior School which is located on the same site, will extend its age range to become a primary school from Monday 1 September 2025.
