ECO4 Flex - Statement of Intent
The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is a government energy efficiency scheme designed to tackle fuel poverty and help reduce carbon emissions.
The scheme provides funding for energy efficiency home improvements, such as a new central heating system, upgrades to the existing heating system and/or insulation.
What is ECO4 Flex?
ECO4 Flex is part of the wider ECO scheme and is a way of identifying and offering energy efficiency measures to low-income and vulnerable households who are unlikely to meet the scheme's standard eligibility criteria.
Local authorities can sign up to participate in ECO4 Flex to identify eligible households and tailor energy efficiency schemes to their respective area.
